Hi all! Inviting you into the houses of Crianca Feliz with me. Been doing creative and theraputic arts with the children and absolutely loving it with all of the many different personalities and precious hearts of the children! Please pray along as you read and see the news!
Yes Lord, more joy always in the name of Jesus! This is the home I am living in and will continue to live until I am finished in the Belo Horizonte branch of Crianca Feliz. I am falling in love with these cuites; there are nine total ranging from ages 7 to 17...all girls! What a blessing it really is right now to be a part of their lives as they are all amazing! I lead them in devotionals, sing to them, and create pieces together. My roomie is a star: Betche! We pray together in the spirit every night as late as we have to in order to get the job done. What a sweet heart!
Here are the famous self portraits I led them through . Very amazing. Please exalt the Lord for all He has been doing here through the art work; pray for the girls in the Casa de Meninas where I am living. Such treasures here. The last self portrait you will see I absolutely adored; I worked with the oldest girl of the home who is going through some very serious confusion in her mind; she and I had some perfect one-on-one time together and I kind of developed a special heart for her pice of artwork, and she warmed up to me deeply that day, but three days later she took it out of the living room and won't bring it back in with the rest of the others. I have no idea what she has done with it. Anyways, out the nine there are only eight self portraits now in the house.
Please pray with me for more time to spend together with Pricilla. She is very uncomfortable around other people, but likes me a lot so I have a good chance of getting closer to her and helping loose the deep waters love of the Lord over her life. She needs a higher self esteem.

It´s ok, they are so dear to my heart; so proud of their works of art! This happens to bless me soooo much! Thank you, Jesus for creativity that can restore confidence, bring out new sides of us, and teach us to love more deeply! I am praising the Lord for such a full release for these precious girls that they wouldn´t even be able to contain it! YEAH!
Works with the children from the emergency rescue transition home: Casa Emmaus. These works were the leaves for healing! Leaves on the tree of life! The instructions were to follow John 15:4,5...Jesus the great Teacher, to stay close to Him forever as He stays close to us, and bear much GOOD fruit in the process! Yup! I had the children search through magazines for collaging all images of things having to do with life. Check this out!
The kids loved doing this work together! Not all of them participated but most, and we had a great time! These children are all getting ready to be placed in new homes soon for longer term care. A lot of my time spent in this house was just playing UNO, goofing around with the camera, listening to them, and then praying towards the end. We also did an emotions design...you gotta see the contrast with these children between happy, mad, and sad. Incredible! I ended up framing a piece and giving it to the phsycologist on sight. She loved it and put it right in her office immidiately with huge smiles. What a special time to be with them! I praise the Lord for every moment!

OK, so yeah! the SF food bank is rad! Go ahead and scan that app for me (Caleb can probablly help if you don´t know the way to do this) and send it on over so I can read it thru real quick like, also go ahead and talk to Micheal Brodeur about the fiscal sponsor, and CALL Christelle Eddy, my girl. I know the food banks give tons and tons sometimes so we can possiblly divvy it up with the Santa Rosa PFTS ministry team even tho it´s in a different county and she and you can split it up. Kieth, Megan, others have her number if you don´t already. She is one of my best friends and probablly reading this now...so connect! She is an awesome physical link. Jeanne, thank you...I already submitted the app. a few weeks ago, only because I went to the food bank and the woman that I talked to made it sound super easy...it wasn't. But I will hold off on moving forward until I scan that and send it over to you. I am sorry about that. I will contact Christelle asap. I will call the food bank and let them know to hold off for a minute. It makes me want to cry to see you blog! It is so beautiful. I am so grateful for your ministry of love! If you have a moment, I know of someone who wants to send some support, and I don't have the info as to where to send the money- if you could send that to me again I would really appreciate it.
